Story Summary

ہالا ایک جوان اور بہادر صحافی ہے جو اچانک ایک بہت بڑے خطرے میں پھنس جاتی ہے ۔ اسے اغوا کر لیا جاتا ہے۔ جب وہ اغوا کاروں سے بھاگنے کی کوشش کرتی ہے تو اتفاقاً اس کی ملاقات زامن سے ہو جاتی ہے۔ ایک ایسے شخص سے جس کا اس کی تقدیر سے گہرا تعلق تھا۔ 

زامن کوئی عام انسان نہیں  وہ ایک آرمی آفیسر اور ISI کا خفیہ ایجنٹ ہے جو انتہائی حساس مشنز پر کام کرتا ہے۔ اس کی دنیا خطرات، رازوں اور وطن کی خاطر قربانیوں سے بھری ہوئی ہے۔ 

اس ڈرامائی ملاقات کے بعد ان دونوں کے درمیان ایک انوکھا رشتہ پیدا ہونے لگتا ہے۔ ایک بے باک صحافی اور ایک دوہری زندگی جینے والا خفیہ ایجنٹ  دونوں ایک دوسرے کی طرف کھنچتے چلے جاتے ہیں۔

کہانی آگے بڑھتی ہے تو ان دونوں کے درمیان ایک خفیہ نکاح ہو جاتا ہے جو ان کے رشتے میں ایک نئی اور پیچیدہ جہت شامل کر دیتا ہے۔  زامن کی خفیہ شناخت اور خطرناک مشنز ان کے بڑھتے ہوئے تعلق میں مسلسل رکاوٹیں کھڑی کرتے رہتے ہیں۔

ناول اس بات کو بہت خوبصورتی سے بیان کرتا ہے کہ ایک فوجی کے گھر میں رہنا یعنی فخر اور اپنے پیارے کو کھو دینے کے خوف کے ساتھ زندگی گزارنا۔  ہالا کو یہ سچائی قبول کرنی پڑتی ہے کہ وہ جس سے محبت کرتی ہے وہ صرف اس کا نہیں  وہ اپنے وطن کا بھی ہے۔

تمام مشکلات، رازوں اور خطرات کے باوجود ناول کا اختتام ایک خوشگوار انجام پر ہوتا ہے۔  محبت بالآخر فرض، قربانی اور چھپے ہوئے رازوں پر غالب آ جاتی ہے۔
