Story Summary

مفرہ اور جازم دو کزن ہیں جن کے درمیان بھائی بہن جیسا رشتہ ہے۔ مفرہ ایک سادہ، باحیا اور دین دار لڑکی ہے جو اپنی مرضی سے عبایہ پہنتی ہے اور زندگی میں شکر گزاری کو اہمیت دیتی ہے۔ جازم اس کا چھوٹا کزن ہے جو مزاج سے رُعونت والا اور تیز طبیعت ہے۔

ایک وقت آتا ہے جب خاندان پر ایک بڑا بحران آ جاتا ہے  رشتوں کی بقاء اور خاندانی عزت داؤ پر لگ جاتی ہے۔ اس نازک موڑ پر مفرہ خود کو قربان کرنے کا فیصلہ کرتی ہے اور ہسپتال میں ہنگامی نکاح کے ذریعے اپنے چھوٹے کزن جازم سے بندھ جاتی ہے  وہ نکاح جو محبت سے نہیں بلکہ ذمہ داری کے احساس سے ہوتا ہے۔

شادی کے بعد دونوں کے درمیان فاصلے، غلط فہمیاں اور جازم کی سرد مہری مفرہ کو اندر سے توڑتی رہتی ہے۔ ساتھ ہی یونیورسٹی لائف میں دوستی کے نام پر دھوکہ اور ہراسانی کے واقعات بھی کہانی میں گہرائی پیدا کرتے ہیں جہاں قریبی دوست ہی سب سے بڑے غدار نکلتے ہیں۔

لیکن وقت کے ساتھ جازم مفرہ کی سادگی، صبر اور اخلاص کو سمجھنے لگتا ہے۔ اس کا روکھا دل آہستہ آہستہ پگھلتا ہے اور وہ احساس کرتا ہے کہ جو سکون وہ ہر جگہ تلاش کرتا رہا  وہ مفرہ ہی ہے۔

کہانی کا اختتام محبت، معافی اور روحانی سکون پر ہوتا ہے  جہاں دونوں ایک دوسرے میں اپنا قلبی سکون پا لیتے ہیں۔
