Story Summary

محبت دل پہ دستک عفت سحر طاہر کا ایک socio-romantic ناول ہے جو تین مختلف جوڑوں کی کہانی بیان کرتا ہے۔ ہر جوڑا اپنے اپنے جذبات، غلط فہمیوں اور زندگی کی مشکلات سے گزرتا ہے۔

ناول کا مرکزی خیال یہ ہے کہ انسان محبت کرتا ہے لیکن اسے وقت پر بیان نہیں کر پاتا۔ کردار سالوں تک جذبات دل میں چھپائے رکھتے ہیں — جھجھکتے ہیں، انتظار کرتے ہیں — اور جب تک ہمت جٹاتے ہیں، وقت گزر چکا ہوتا ہے۔

ہیروئن ایک نرم دل، وفادار اور صابر لڑکی ہے جو درد کو خاموشی سے برداشت کرتی ہے۔ ہیرو ایک پراعتماد مگر غرور میں مبتلا نوجوان ہے جس کی انا اور غلط فہمیاں دونوں کے درمیان دیوار بن جاتی ہیں۔ مگر تکلیف اور آزمائش سے گزر کر وہ بدلتا ہے اور محسوس کرتا ہے کہ جو پا سکتا تھا، اسے کھونے کے قریب تھا۔

باقی دو جوڑوں کی کہانیاں بھی پاکستانی معاشرے کے مختلف رشتوں کی تصویر پیش کرتی ہیں — کہیں طلاق کا درد ہے، کہیں انا کی جنگ، اور کہیں چھوٹے چھوٹے مسائل جو خوبصورت رشتوں کو توڑ دیتے ہیں۔
